New Year’s Vows And Setting Goals

Cleaning the old one, to upgrade the new one

With the new year, we began to write a new book. We have already listed the first few sheets. How you know by yourself. Tell me how did you start your this year’s book of life? Have you reviewed the publication of the previous year? What do you want to improve this year? What do you want to achieve this year? It’s time to sit down, check out what you wrote in 2018. Then thank the Universe for your family, for every experience, every event you remember, and it is important to you. Now you are ready to continue with writing the book of 2019.

To get the best results every day, you need to set goals. We need to write them down, so we can make a more concrete plan.

How do we get started?

Where are you going to write down your goals, you know the best by yourself. Let your imagination serve you. It is essential that they are in a visible place. That way they remind you, each time you look at them, that you follow the default path.

I have on the wall vision board. I draw, write or place pictures on it. These are things, the events that I want to achieve. The board reminds me every day that I need to be in action so I can reach my wishes. To complete your desires is necessary to set goals that will lead you to fulfill every dream.

Setting goals

Annual goals

Start by setting the annual goals. The goals you want to achieve this year.

Now take a blank sheet, a notebook or a computer. Concrete your goals. Write down what you want to achieve this year. For each goal, determine the end date. Write down what you will need to accomplish this goal, how to deal with it. Evaluate the material goals. How much money will you need to achieve a particular goal?

That way you can set any goal. It can be related to your home, family, health, weight loss, work or your own business.

Long-term goals

What could be long-term goals? These are the goals we set for 3, 5, 10 years in advance. We can include here various savings (for schooling a child, building a house, buying a car, a pension, etc.), events (moving, marriage, etc.) and more.

It is even more critical that you set long-term goals if you are an entrepreneur. Where will you be in the next three years with your business? Where will you spread in five years?

Monthly goals

Once you have set annual goals, you can arrange them for months. At the beginning of each month, you also review how the month went by and adjust the goals for the coming month. Here you determine what you will achieve by the end of the month. To complete the goal at the end of the month, you should set smaller, weekly goals. Every week brings you closer, to the final, monthly goal.

Weekly and daily goals

To achieve the primary goal you need to follow the path. On this path, we already set smaller, weekly goals. To make the best of them, we set ourselves the mini-goals. You reach the mini goals with the assigned tasks that you prepare for the next day.

We can prepare detailed goals for the next day already in the evening when we have finished all the tasks. Write down all the activities you will have the next day. Do this task very precisely. You should make the precise schedule (e.g., from 9:00 to 10:00 a post on Facebook, from 10:00 to 12:00 writing a blog, etc.).

You should follow the timetable. I always set my alarm clock. That way I am encouraged to achieve more work in a shorter time.

Essential in planning the next day, is also that we put on the schedule first those tasks, that we were unable to complete in the current day. If the activity is such as to require day-to-day treatment, we include it in the timetable when it suits us best.

Hurry, to set your goals!

Now, I invite you to do your work. When you can think of everything that I wrote you, in silence, start to plan your goals. I wish you success by achieving your goals.

Please tell me in the comment area, what kind of New Year’s vows did you accept? Have you got a plan yet?
